Privacy Policy
PDFMoka is built so that your files stay on your device. This policy describes what that means in practice, and it is written to be verifiable, not just reassuring.
Your files are never uploaded
Every conversion runs inside your browser. Files you drop, paste, or select are read and rendered locally and are never transmitted to any server. A Content Security Policy blocks any code path that could upload a file; the only external requests the site makes are anonymous analytics that never carry your file contents. You can confirm this by converting with your browser's network tab open and checking that no request contains your file, or by disconnecting from the network and seeing that conversion still works. See the methodology page for the technical detail.
What is stored
PDFMoka stores a single theme preference (light or dark) in your browser's local storage; it never contains file contents. No account is required. The only cookies or identifiers are those set by analytics, described below.
Analytics
PDFMoka uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly how many people use each converter, and similar site-level trends. It also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement that does not track individual identity and only sees page-level traffic. Both run entirely separately from file conversion. Your files, their contents, and the results of any conversion are never sent to Google Analytics, Cloudflare, or any other third party. These services process traffic data under their own terms; if you prefer, a browser extension or tracking protection can block them without affecting the converters.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. See also the terms of service.
